Drew Goddard set to direct and write ‘X-Force’

After the unprecedented success of Deadpool it gave 20th Century Fox a way to take their Marvel characters rather than the prototypical X-Men and Wolverine films coming out every couple of years. The film gave them a blueprint of where they can take the universe and have much more weird and obscure properties. You can see the start of it with films like X-Men: Dark Phoenix, New Mutants, and X-Force. Both X-Men: Dark Phoenix and New Mutants have gotten great news regarding their production, actors, and script. But the same can’t be said for X-Force until now.
