The Experience of Atmospheric Art

I’m not sure if ‘atmospheric art’ is actually a real term but let’s call it that. Here’s what I think it is:

It’s not just a book, it’s not just a song, it’s not just a film; it is a transcending feeling. And that feeling happens because the art, whatever it is, changes the atmosphere I’m in.

Some art doesn’t just exist independently as what it is but its energy leaks out into the room, onto the people.

I guess you could say that all art is just that. But I don’t think it’s that common. At least not for me. It’s pretty special when something I experience really changes the air around me and that feeling walks with me for a while.

Let me be more specific.
